DURING FALL OF 2012, I was fortunate enough to intern at Anthropologie, enabling me to attain a firsthand experience of the merchandising side of the fashion industry. Because Anthropologie is a lifestyle brand, every aspect of the store is tailored to its target market, which really aided in my understanding of how to cater to customer’s needs by utilizing all the senses. Working with the visual team truly taught me the meaning of teamwork as we endeavored to create an extensive two-window front holiday display in a limited amount of time.
